POLICY REGARDING WEIGHT RESTRICTIONS, ROAD BANS & PERMITS
The Rural Municipality of Lomond No. 37 may impose a weight restriction (Ban) on any municipal road, at any time, to maintain the integrity of a road pursuant to Bylaw No. 5/92 and Bylaw No. 3-2012.
Please be advised of the following:
That Pursuant to Bylaw 3-2012:
- Gravel & Oil Surfaced Roads –
- Primary weights are in effect 12:00 a.m., Monday, March 3, 2025.
- Secondary Weight Restrictions will be imposed on ALL roads at 12:00 a.m. March 15th, 2025.
- Overweight permits may be issued for non-divisible loads on gravel roads only. Permit costs are as follows:
- Annual Permits are $100.00 per truck, per year; or
- Daily Permits are $25.00 per truck, per day.
